Kampar, July 30 (J-on) - A motorcyclist suffered serious leg injuries after colliding with an oncoming vehicle in Westlake at around 10pm yesterday.

The accident occured when a white Proton Iswara made a turning at a T-junction near the Westlake gate leading to new town and hit the oncoming motorcycle.

The victim, a first year journalism student suffered a deep gash to his right leg and was sent to Kampar Hospital by an ambulance at 10:20pm.

An eye-witness claimed the victim was unconscious shortly after the incident occurred.

The driver, a foundation student appeared to be traumatised over the incident and was seen weeping while her friends consoled her.

Two police vehicles was despatched to the scene to document the incident and shortly after the vehicles involved were taken to the Kampar District Police Station.
