Kampar, July 15 (J-on) - UTARians who crave for McDonalds will soon no longer require to make a trip to Ipoh as its Kampar franchise begins construction.
Speculation was rife that the land opposite of New Town PETRONAS would be a McDonalds outlet however its site manager, Mr Tan Kim Seng denied this.

The said outlet will in fact be built on the land beside Mango café and bistro, however Tan declined to elaborate further.
The land opposite of PETRONAS is the site of a RM2 million tin mining museum.

“The structure may have a price but the value of education the museum will be giving instilling to the young generation is priceless,” said Tan.
The building will house tin mining utensils used in bygone days until the time modern machinery was introduced to enhance the tin mining productivity.
