UTAR Parking Issue in Sin Chew Daily

Kampar, July 2 (J-on) – Insufficient car park issue in Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) was brought up in Sin Chew Daily Perak Edition yesterday.
The news article which dated July 1st (Thursday) carried the headline “UTAR Kampar Lacking Car Park” and sub headline “Students Complaint, University Refused to Comment”.
According to the article, a student emailed Sin Chew Daily and complained that some students were forced to park their cars and motorbikes at the university’s east gate.

The student who was unnamed in the article also mentioned that complaints had been made to the university but no feedback was given.
Hence, the student decided to inform the media regarding this case, hoping for greater attention.
The student also said that it was too dangerous to park vehicles at East gate as accidents happened before.
However, the university refused to comment when contacted by Sin Chew Daily.
