Kampar, June 21 (J-on) - The UTAR Film Fest may have concluded, but one of its debutted video, the now infamous "An Utarian's Faith" has gone viral on the internet.

The video, uploaded on Vimeo and widely shared on Facebook, depicts the everyday complaints of UTARians with their university in Kampar, ranging from crowded bus stops to the lack of parking space and other facilities.

Clearly striking a chord on UTARians, the video generated a stunning 6,000 views in a single day.

While many may relish the fact that their complaints are now in motion on the internet, the director behind the video, Choo Toong Hoe (Advertising Y3S2) has a very different message for his viewers.

When contacted, Choo said that he made the video because he wanted students to believe in their university.

"I have always wanted to make a short film, so after my internship, I used the experience to make the video, then I realised that UTAR has also improved alot (since before my training)," he said

The video, written by Danny Chong Ka Yung (Advertising Y3S2) was nominated in the Best Script Category during its screening in UTAR PJ Campus last Saturday.
