SRC Candidates Finalised

Kampar, June 17 (J-on) – Student Representative Committee (SRC) election committee has finalised 12 candidates to be eligible for contest.
According to an announcement made by the election committee, there is a straight fight for four positions, which are Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer.
Oh Chin Eng (Journalism) and R. Aravin Ravi (Public Relations) will be contesting for Chairman.
Tiffany Oon Min-I (Journalism) and Wong Chye Huat (Financial Economics) has been nominated for Vice Chairman.
Meanwhile, Mark Yeoh Chin Wen (Computer Engineering) and Khor Gui Wei (Psychology) will be contesting for Secretary.
The treasurer position is a fight between Amirah Ismail (Journalism) and Hee Yet Wai (Psychology).
There will be a three-cornered fight for the Auditor post, and they are Mak Hui Qing (Public Relations), Lee Thawat Chae (Accounting), and Lee Poi Cia (Public Relations).
Navindran Chandran (Advertising) is the only candidate representing the Faculty of Social Science. He is expected to win without contest.
Meanwhile, there are no candidates representing other faculties in campus, including Faculty of Business and Finance (FBF), Faculty of Engineering and Green Teachnology (FEGT), Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FICT) and Faculty of Science (FSc).
The SRC election campaign will be held from 21st to 23rd June and students will be able to vote during polling on the 24th and 25th June.
