Imagine yourself at a golden age, telling stories from your juicy past of adolescence and young adulthood. Whether this sharing is with your friends or grandchildren, everyone wants to leave behind a content past that is worth being told time and again.

Having a well-balanced lifestyle in this era where adulthood, freedom and responsibilities a like, become a new and exiting arena to explore. Be it day or night, anyone can be content with eventful happenings in life.

Taking into consideration, your night life could be as eventful as your day schedule, even though radically differing from tutorials, lectures and on campus activities.

The night is when you let your hair down, kick back, relax and do some mingling.

To some, night life might not be their cup of tea, saying ‘I’m not that type of person’. However, night life does not necessarily indicate booze and a stereotype that you are running with the wrong crowd.

On contraire, there are plenty of spots in Kampar where you can relax and mingle without having a negative notion to it.

Something to consider by is the sprouting of pool centres in Kampar such as The Cue and Maxbreak. This sport is both fun and entertaining whether you are excellent at it or perhaps a beginner. Having a little bonding time with friends wouldn’t hurt, would it?

Further more, like any place in Malaysia there are the ‘mamak’ restaurants where mingling is always number one on the list, a place for friends to gather and ‘yamcha’.

For instance, take Ghany or Maha Maju their restaurants are always packed at night with people enjoying each others company. Now, with football fever around the corner these places would be overflowing with fans and the bond here could last a life time.

Also, there are other places where there is a welcoming ambience radiating from it, after having dinner at these restaurants such as Golden Label, friends could play board or cards games and just chat the night away.

For those who are into computer games, relaxing and bonding with friends could be by hanging out at cyber cafes such as Khakhabo and Imax while indulging in havoc gaming sessions that you’d probably be telling your grandchildren.

These activities could possibly be adequate for some. Perhaps, now you’re up for a more zesty night out.

Note that most nightclubs are in Ipoh and driving that far may seems tedious and out of reach at times.

Well, there are outlets in Kampar that inches you closer to Ipoh’s scene without leaving the vicinity.

21st is a bistro outlet with more of a lounge ambience that serves booze, food and snacks. This with good company makes a perfectly good night out and on the plus side you can walk home after.

These are just a few suggestions to make a night life in Kampar plausible and not a fragment of the imagination.

Nevertheless, the best part of Kampar is the Do-it-yourself (D-I-Y) option to gather some friends and hang out at their houses or play basketball which may be tricky but all the more fun.

These are the moments where we bond and gather juicy stories for future.
