Kuala Lumpur, April 20 - The High Court has set May 4 to hear clarifications over a suit filed by four students against the Government challenging its policy to teach Science and Mathematics in English.
High Court (Appellate and Special Powers) judge Justice Aziah Ali set the date in her chambers after meeting Senior Federal Counsel Suzana Atan acting for the Government and chambering student Azhana Mohd Khairuddin, who mentioned the case on behalf of law firm of Mohamed Hanipa & Associates for the students.

Kampar, April 11 (J-On) - Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Kampar held an interfaculty competition at UTAR’s sport complex, and among the games that are played are volleyball, futsal and basketball.
Sports Club chairperson, Piong Chee Keai, 22, said that the purpose of the competition was to allow undergraduates from different faculties to be able to interact with each other.

由于赛事以总累计分数计算，因此分数较为落后的FAS和FBF(B队)，必须在半决赛一较高下。半决赛中，FBF (B组)以23比13击败FAS，成功晋级总决赛。
FAS队（白衣）和 FBF（B队）球员在半决赛中，为晋级总决赛，奋力地抢拿篮板球。
总决赛先上阵的FICT和FEGT队，该赛事由FICT队17比9，以8分之差拿下FEGT队。紧接着有FBF（B组）对垒FEGT，在火药味十足的一场竞技后，让FEGT以1分险胜FBF（B组）。
在关键赛中，FBF（B组）对上FICT，最后FBF（B组）以34比14轻易拿下FICT，夺下胜利一席。
FICT队的球员(黄衣)遇上强敌FBF(B队)的全面防守，仍然使力投出手上的一球。
冠军FBF队伍的队长，林佑河（22）在比赛后表示：“这次的选手实力非凡，绝不容小觑。我们能侥幸夺冠，是全靠大家的默契以及努力来换取的。”
FBF（B组）默契加上努力，赢得比赛。

（金宝 11日讯）拉曼大学运动社为了迎合运动嘉年华，特于今日上午九时，举办了一场乒乓赛，约20位来自拉大各科系的学生参与此项活动。
比赛在大约11点半结束，刘伟伦表示，奖牌仅会颁发给冠亚军，并拟定在来临的星期四举行颁奖典礼。

自认华语比马来语还要流利， 华人朋友比马来朋友还要多的Khairil Akhtiar （22岁），是拉大会计系学生。今年是Khairil在拉大就读的第三年。
由于Khairil的爸爸望能Khairil学习华语，以便能有更多的发展机会，所以他从小就被爸爸送到华小就读。升中学时，Khairil因担心把小学学会的中文给忘了，所以选择了独中。最后，因统考的关系，Khairil选择了报读拉大。
对从小就在华社为主的环境下求学的Khairil来说，在拉大的交际生活已经不成问题，身边较为要好的朋友有多数是华人。
Khairil认为，会多种语言是一种优势。Khairil表示，“会多一种语言，有好处。我还能扮演多个角色，我觉得这非常好玩。”
Khairil Akhtiar： “华人比较开放，可以接受很多东西。”
对于Khairil来说，无论跟马来人或者华人相处都不成问题。甚至连饮食方面的问题都不存在，因为Khairil的朋友都很乐意迁就他的饮食禁忌。
