Heavy Downpour Causes a Waterlogged UTAR
Kampar, Apr 13 (J-on) – Several areas of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) were flooded by a small pool of water after a heavy downpour today.

The rain which started at 4.45pm here caused the cafeteria and parking lots at Block D to be slightly flooded. However, the rain eventually stopped at 5.30pm.

J-on found that the university’s sign board which was located at Jalan Universiti’s entrance was broken after the rain.

Meanwhile, it is learned that hundreds of Westlake houses experienced blackout at 4.44pm, and the electricity resumed at 5.06pm.
