UTAR, February 29 (J-on): UTAR students will have a taste of what it feels like to be imprisoned in a jail cell thanks to an eye-raising prom event.

The Crime Prevention Society, along with the varsity's Film Club, International Friendship Society and Board Game Society are jointly organising a jail-theme dinner event entitled “Prison Break”. The prom night will take place on March 28.

The main purpose of the event is to promote an anti-crime lifestyle and provide a platform for students to interact.

There will be a variety of performances during the event with a drama sketch slated to be the evening's highlight.

According to Prison Break’s chairman Denson Loh Ker Xien, a teaser video will be released soon to accompany the sketch.
