A Clinic for UTAR
Kampar, August 10 (J-on) - With UTAR continuously trying to improve its services students would soon have access to a clinic inside UTAR.
The clinic would be situated at Block C in rooms C109 and C110 with part of the wall broken down to connect both rooms.
“It would take two to three weeks to complete the installation of lights and partitions for the clinic,” said Head of Department of Estate and Facilities Abdul Majid Mohd Gani.
Tentatively, the clinic would open after Hari Raya but it would definitely be in operation next trimester.
“It is good to have a clinic inside UTAR as students do not need to go to Kampar New Town for treatment,” said Accountancy student Lee Pei Chen.
A local doctor has signed a contract with UTAR to operate the clinic.
