（金宝26日讯）就读商业资讯管理系的 “UTAR 品冠” 周盛辉同学凭着其充满磁性，酷似本地著名歌手黄品冠的歌喉，以精湛的歌艺及稳健的临场发挥，勇夺拉曼大学第二届卡拉OK总决赛的冠军宝座，并赢取价值5千500令吉的奖品。
上述比赛是由金宝拉曼大学音乐学会主办，于今日下午4时至晚上10时在开放礼堂隆重举行，吸引逾600人出席。
本届总决赛十强入围者包括张雁萍、林沈慈、章国伟、莎蒂雅、陈沁娥、黄雯俐、周盛辉、刘焌营、庄慧婷及蔡婉芬。其中林沈慈小姐因个人因素选择弃权退出比赛，此决赛变为9强表演。
普活动开始主办单位即安排 10位 入围者以歌舞表演的方式作为开场，全场气氛在入围者们的精彩表演及主持的积极带动下很快就进入充满喝彩，呼喊及掌声的热烈场面。大会安排连接紧凑的节目赛程，让表演嘉宾的表演穿插在空挡时间，观众们更是看得目不暇接，欢呼声贯穿全场。
主办单位更为观众准备了庞大的表演嘉宾阵容，包括特邀大马乐坛新人黄俊焰及本地歌手黎昇铭，星光七歌手陈美娇，09年怡保K-Box季军黄雯，上届拉曼大学冠军林视源同学，及拉曼大学舞蹈学会代表队伍Cross V.
经过一轮的经典歌曲表演及一轮激烈的对垒环节，评审随即淘汰了4位选手，而未淘汰者成功进入五强，分别为陈沁娥，黄雯俐，周盛辉，刘焌营及庄慧婷。
最终周盛辉同学以一首五月天的《恋爱ing》成功击败对手获得冠军，紧接着是庄慧婷同学凭着孙燕姿的《第一天》获得亚军，陈沁娥同学则凭着蔡依林的《舞孃》获得季军，而赛前被受看好的热门冠军人选刘焌营因在演唱第三支歌曲时出现严重的忘词失误，只能获得最佳人气奖。

Kuala Lumpur - The Ministry of Higher Education reaffirmed that only those who completed their bachelor’s degree studies with First Class honours in 2010 are eligible to be exempted from PTPTN loans repayment as it will be automatically converted to scholarships.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak made the above announcement during in the Budget Plan 2010.

（吉隆坡26日讯）高等教育部重申，只有在2010年考获一等或荣誉文凭的大学毕业生，才有资格申请把国家高等教育基金（PTPTN）贷学金转为奖学金，不必摊还。
首相拿督斯里纳吉，是在提呈2010年财政预算案时，作出上述宣布。
高教部官员今日证实，上述宣布只限应届毕业生受惠，2010年之前或之后的毕业生，皆不在此列。
换言之，2005年7月1日以后领取PTPTN贷学金，且在2010年以前毕业的一等成绩贷款人，都没资格提出申请将贷学金转为奖学金。
他说，高教部早前已规定，2005年7月1日以后获得PTPTN贷款者，皆不能申请把它转为奖学金，只是首相在宣布2010年财政预算案时，特别给予那一年的一等成绩大学毕业生优惠。
他今日针对一名署名“W.K Ngui”读者，周五透过电子邮件向“中国报”投诉，指政府允许一等成绩大学毕业生，申请将贷学金转为奖学金，对一群“卡在中间”的人不公平事项，这么发言。
电邮指出，这群“卡在中间”者，就是2005年7月1日以后领取贷学金，却又在2010年以前毕业的一等或荣誉文凭持有人 。——（中国报）

The workshop was open to all Faculty of Arts and Social Science (FAS) students but priority was given to Y2T3 and final year students in order to prepare them for their upcoming Industrial Attachment.

“Cybercare正在筹备一个提高孤儿信心的运动，因此我们极需经费来举办这个活动。”卢同学说到。
