Ipoh, June 4 (J-on) – The Community Service Society also known as the Circle K Club of UTAR has organized a learning and sharing camp for orphans and disabled children.

The event was held at the D.R. Park, starting from 8a.m. till noon. The children who participated are from Praise Home Ipoh, Good Shepherd Home Ipoh, Vital Years Early English Literacy Centre of Bukit Mertajam.

The organizing team has carried out quite a number of interesting activities like ice-breaking, group interaction games, storytelling, singing and dancing.

“We wish to organize bigger events that will benefit more orphans and disabled children in the future” said Clifford Lee, the event director.

Lee also encourages more UTAR students to join the Community Service Society, allowing the society to gather a bigger force in order to reach out to more children who are in need.

The Community Service Society will be having a recruitment drive starting from June 6th till 10th in Cafeteria, Block C.
