He had decided infirmly to travel far away from his hometown to pursue his new dreams. He was alone all the while. Nobody talked to him as well as he was not able to take any initiative to approach anyone.

“王者以民为天，而民以食为天”，位于旧街场Jalan Baru, Taman Tasik Emas, 金鹰食物中心后面人称36档的档子，有许多‘平、靓、正’的地道小吃。那里琳琅满目的美食飘香，只是看就足以令人食指大动，胃酸一直分泌。难怪，这里天天都是那么人潮如涌。
36挡生意奇佳，几乎每天都是高朋满座，许多当地人都喜欢到这里用餐，所以36档可说是地道老饕的首选。
36档，虽然没有每一档都营业，不过在那里数一数，至少有多达十几种的美食可任君选择。那一排矮矮的档口里，不少档口前面有一群群等待美食的人。往其中人潮最拥的档口走去，就可以看到远近驰名的金耀亚三叻沙（第17档）和鸿记鱼旦老鼠粉档（第16档）。

Susan and Jonathan were excited at the prospect of entering university. Fresh out of high school and SPM, the only things they were thinking in their minds were, “No more uniforms! We’re free to dress as we like!”

为了让拉曼大学的新生们在无任何障碍之下，顺利展开大学生涯，J-on的记者们都熬夜加快速度地记录下“线索”给于新生们，希望新生们能通过这些“线索”，消除掉存在于心中对陌生城市的不安与焦虑！
所谓“人山人海”，恰好形容金宝，这个热闹的小镇，拉曼大学位于金宝的新街场里。2008年，拉曼大学的第一批新生只能通过巴士或的士，回到离自己遥远的家乡，如吉兰丹，槟城，柔佛，吉隆坡等等。

在外住宿的学生一般上最担心的就是金钱问题，即使学生成功获得政府提供的高等教育基金（PTPTN）或各机构提供的奖学金，有些甚至加上父母不时给予的金钱资助，但他们仍然面对入不敷出的窘境。这问题终究是学生们不善于理财，导致消费不当？还是自制能力欠佳，渐而导致挥霍成性。

Kampar, Mar 9 (J-on): Leaking roofs have been a common thing among the houses at Westlake under the management of Danish House Sdn Bhd.
On stormy nights, it is possible for water to leak in from the roof.

其中一名就读会计系的学生居民苏筱茗表示：“我家的网路调制解调器坏了两个星期后，Danish house的员工才派人来修理。此外，有一次下大雨时，我家外面的天花板掉了下来，并压坏了我的脚踏车。”
他补充，Danish house的负责人对于这场意外只是赔偿一张金宝大酒店10令吉的餐券。这令他极度不满意，觉得他们只想草草了事。
另外，一名不愿意透露姓名的学生居民也面对天花板漏水的问题，虽然她在发现漏水问题后就立刻向Danish house的员工投诉，但是，有关员工却姗姗来迟修理其房子漏水的地方。
她说道：“纵使我多番投诉，Danish house还是没有采取任何行动。在劳烦到我的母亲上前投诉后，他们才肯派维修员前来修理。”
针对以上学生居民所面对的问题，J-on记者尝试去向Danish house了解问题的起因，但是，他们拒绝回应所有的问题。

“我觉得最好的赔偿是Danish house可以缴付我修理脚踏车的费用。”
叶敏仪 （人文科学基础班，18岁）
“经过这件事情后，我对Danish house的服务态度感到不满意，因此，决定不会再跟Danish house续约了。”
姚菁丽（英文系，20岁）
