KAMPAR: It supposed to be a happy study session yet ended up a nightmare to two University Tunku Abdul Rahman (Utar) undergraduates.
Wong (guy), 20, and Huam (girl), 18, were robbed at about 3.30am morning that on their way back home from Jalan Hala Timah (Newtown)
Wong, the year two student of Computer Science in UTAR said there were two young Chinese men at about age of 25 came with a car and hit them up at Jalan Batu Hijau (the road between Newtown and Westlake)
“They (robbers) stopped their car in front me and forced me to emergency break, and they rushed down the car with knife on hand,” he said, adding that he was riding a motorcycle.
“They pointed on me and my friend and asked us to surrender all valuable belongings,”
It was learnt that they lost a laptop, two wallets, two mobile phones and house keys in the incident.
A passerby brought them to lodge report at about one minute later.
“It is normal for the undergraduates to pass by the street in the early morning, but coincidently the moment has no one around,” said the passerby, who does not want to be name.

Wong urged who saw a silver-coloured Vios with no car plate, or the car’s right side was slightly cracked to make a report to the police immediately.
Wong also reminded students in Kampar to be aware on the safety especially in the midnight.
