Biological Prospect Week
By: Goh Kae Min
Once again, the active Biological Science Society has successfully organized a Biology exploration event from 25th - 27th of June along the busy ground floor corridor of block D. The event comprised of several talks, exotic pets exhibition, fundraising and recruitment drive.
The primary objective of the event is to enrich the understanding and knowledge of students, especially bioscience students about the biological prospects in Malaysia.
Despite the success of the event, Jackson Foong,
the event chairman described it as “imperfection”.
"Initially we
were trying to invite various companies to the exhibition but the responses
were negative," Jackson expressed his disappointment.

"However, we have sufficient information
about the career opportunity and of the companies pasted on the exhibition
boards."
On the other hand, the highlight of the event was no doubt the exotic pets exhibition that often attracted a large crowd throughout all 3 days of exhibition. The animals displayed included corn snakes, scorpions, tarantulas, electronic catfish, piranhas, hedgehog, gecko and so forth.
