      当您情绪低落时，是否想要他人给您一个拥抱？当您面对生活上残酷的打击时，是否想要他人关怀的拥抱？当您孤独失落时，是否想要他人一个温暖的拥抱和一句鼓励的话？
      吸取两年前Free Hug 活动的经验，心理学系讲师，许伟源（Mr. William) 卷土重来, 带领12名心理学系学生，在三月份最后一个星期五在校园举办了Free Hug活动。这大约2小时的活动让参与者有机会接触不同的陌生人，并给予他们温暖的拥抱。尽管天气炎热，参与者毫无怨言地走遍全校，从课室到办公室；学生到职员，即使汗流浃背，他们都给予陌生人温暖的拥抱与关怀。
    负责讲师Mr. William说，他向心理系学生提出举办Free Hug活动的建议，希望借此活动让学生体验更多不同的经验，也希望这活动让大家感受人与人之间的温暖。虽然人数从原先的50余名学生减成现有的12位，但他仍然衷心感谢每一位参与者的付出。
他表示，举办该活动的宗旨是为了要营造一个正面的读书环境，并致力的减少学生的压力。在很多地方，free hugs的活动已经很普遍，如美国，日本，台湾等国家，相比之下，在我国还是属于比较新兴的活动，这也导致，在进行活动的时候，很多人不了解该活动的用意。

KAMPAR: UTAR's 4th Earth Hour was organized by its Community Service Society at UTAR Sports Complex last Saturday, and approximately more than 500 people made up the crowd despite the heavy rains that evening.

KAMPAR, 19 March 2014: Inheriting the legacy of volunteerism, Public Relations (PR) undergraduates from University Tunku Abdul Rahman are campaigning to reduce unwanted strays through a community service campaign with the theme of Animal Welfare.
