Lamppost falls on two cars after crash

UTAR, August 27 (J-on) – A car crashed into a lamppost causing it to fall on two other cars at the parking lot in Block H yesterday.

An officer from the university’s security department who witnessed the incident said, “The car went up the divider and crashed into the lamppost.”

The officer who refused to be named added that the driver is a tutor from the university.

The incident attracted a small crowd of onlookers including Shivashangeree who was passing by after her class.

“I first thought that the lamppost fell by itself but turns out, the fall happened after a car crashed into it,” said the Journalism student.

Meanwhile, it is believed that the blue Perodua Viva and silver Perodua Myvi which were hit by the lamppost belongs to a student and a lecturer respectively.

A dented bumper is spotted on the car which crashed into the lamppost.

The damages from the fall include a slight crack on the windscreen of the blue Perodua Viva.
