Kampar, 2 Dec (J-on) - There was a sudden event organized by the Christian Fellowship today at the Block C Cafeteria, UTAR. Around 30 people started singing Christmas carols, surprising students.
The event started during lunch hour when most of the students were seated in the cafeteria at 12.20P.M. Participants were divided into a few groups, spreading out throughout the cafeteria. Students who were the audience enjoyed the sudden burst of song at the cafeteria.
“The purpose of the event is because we hope that we can spread the love and the happiness to all the people. Besides, Christmas is coming soon,” said Alexson Chuah Chang En, a Computer Science, Year 1 Trimester 3 student.
Besides the Christmas song “We Wish You Merry Christmas”, they also sang carols such as “Joy To The World”, “Angles We Have Heard On High”, and the “Feliz Navidad”.
They ended the event with giving out sweets to students who were having lunch at the cafeteria.
