Kampar, 8 March – The Photography Society recently held a three days photo exhibition themed ‘Lifestyle’. The three day event attracted many students to the Heritage Hall, where the exhibition was held.
“We chose the theme ‘Lifestyle’ because it could be just about anything,” said Jennifer Tan, chairperson of the Photography Society here in UTAR.
“The photographs you see here are not only contributed by the society’s members, but all students,” she added.

The main attraction would probably be the rather big ‘house’ made of cardboard, in which various photos depicting lifestyle were displayed, alongside life-sized cardboard furniture. Amongst them were a living room set, a bedroom set and dining hall set.
Hew Wee Leng, and English Language student, said that she was very impressed with the exhibition, and that she admired the effort the Photography Society put into it.
There was also a photo shooting booth where students could have their photos professionally taken for just RM2 per photo (4R).
Other than that, there was a corner titled Faces Of UTAR, which displayed over a thousand pictures of different students holding up a placard with the words ‘Lifestyle’ written on it.
Students also had another chance to get their hands on miniature camera key chains sold by the society. And beside that booth was a wall in which students could write their impressions of the exhibition.
