Imagine, our Earth full of plastic bags, plastic made products, how will we and our next generation going to live?

I bet everyone knows plastic are not environmental friendly product and plastic bag usually take 20 years and for a thicker plastic made product such as plastic cup takes 250 years to decompose.

Our government had alert of the consequences of plastic and had implemented a new rule that banned plastic bag ruling at all hypermarket, shopping centers, departmental stores, convenience stores, fast food restaurants, and pharmacies start from 1 January 2011 every Saturday.

TESCO

Most of the shoppers in TESCO are unaware of “No Plastic Day” and did not bring their own bags.

“I do not know today was “No Plastic Bag” day but I will try to bring a recycle bag next time,” Lady who wish to be known as Tan commented.

Tan placed her groceries into trolley.

“There are no banners or notice stated outside,” said one of the shoppers. She hopes there will be more notices to remind her about “No Plastic Day”.

“I feel so difficult to carry all the things together without plastic bag,” said Norlaili.
